Before parenting did you dabble in self help and spiritual truths?
Perhaps you meditated or practiced yoga or
maybe you just always meant to.
No matter what, a lot of us pursued a spiritual life before our children came along.
We saw it as fulfilling and learnt of a deeper side of ourselves.
And if you are anything like me, you dreamed of parenting from a spiritual perspective, meeting your child on a deeper level and passing on tools for happiness and fulfillment to them at a young age.
But then, life can suddenly speed up when our children our born, right?
Suddenly, there's no time for enlightenment, yoga or even a calm cup of tea. Instead we're steeped in tantrums, nightmares and sadly, stress.
We can become a shadow self, who act the way a parent "should" act, yet we feel an ache to connect to that deeper part of ourselves we know as Who We Really Are. We feel frustrated, guilty and like we're missing out on something so much deeper and real.
As a parent, it can be hard to find the quiet space to go within and consult your instincts.
But parenting can be a spiritual experience, a journey like none other.
Where our children and us can play and delve deep, learning spiritual truths together, in new and exciting ways.
We can also prepare our children for the happiest of lives through living in Spiritual Awareness early on.
Spiritually Aware Parenting is about finding spirit in the smallest of moments and
enlightenment in the strangest places.
Its about embracing one of most incredible times in our lives and truly living them.
My name is Christina Fletcher.
I'm a parent coach and author as well as a happy wife and home schooling mother of 3 amazing spirits.
I love living spiritually aware days, practicing mindfulness and finding creative and exciting ways to pass spiritual living on to my children...
and to yours.
I love helping parents create mindful practices and find their own inner voice, so they can consciously parent from who they really are, understanding their children's behavior and emotions on a deeper level and creating a happier family experience.
